Any attempt to oust President Rodrigo Duterte will fail because the Chief Executive has the unequivocal support of the people.
This according to administration senatorial bet and former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Bato dela Rosa, who on Wednesday said that whether the information regarding a plot to remove the President was accurate or not, the result would be the same.
Whether it is true or not, that plan to oust the President will not succeed.
(Whether it is true or not, that plan to oust the President will not succeed)
The Mindanao native said that such efforts would be futile as the President enjoyed the trust and support of the Filipino people.
According to the career law enforcement officer, “sobrang laki kasi ng tiwala ng ating kababayan kay Presidente.
Dela Rosa explained that the first President from Mindanao had the overwhelming support of the country because he was true to his promise in 2016 to be a tough leader who would care for his constituents.
The senatorial aspirant said he understood why many of the President’s supporters believe there was a plot to unseat him, given that the chief executive has been at the receiving end of relentless criticism from the opposition.
It cannot be avoided if there will be some who will believe news that the President will be ousted. He is being attacked left and right by the opposition) lamented Dela Rosa.

Despite this, Dela Rosa appealed to the President’s critics to set aside politics and focus on working to uplift the welfare of the country’s 104 million citizens.
