In a significant move toward enhancing local infrastructure, the Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC) formally transferred the Certificate of Title for three road lots to the City Government of Surigao.

In a meeting held recently, NSCC CEO and Chairman Divina Quemi, along with NSCC Legal Counsel Atty. Edwin Concepcion Jr., Board Executive Secretary Zenaida Reno, and Credit Manager Angelito Lapid, presented the title to Mayor Pablo Yves Dumlao II.
The new road will improve access to city-owned land in these areas, bolstering Surigao’s infrastructure growth.

The mayor noted that the donation will significantly support ongoing efforts to expand Surigao City’s public services and infrastructure.
Vice Mayor Alfonso Casurra, City Assessor Araceli Dela Rosa, and SUCEMPUCO Chairman Marlowe Gorgonio were also present to witness the handover.
Discussions also included a new collaboration between NSCC and the Surigao City Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (SUCEMPUCO) to further strengthen cooperative growth and support for city employees.
NSCC, dedicated to poverty reduction and community development, continues its mission of cooperative empowerment through financial aid, training, and community-focused projects.
