Paano maninindigan sa gumuguhong pundasyon?
Sining LABinsiyam (SiLAB) is a production house under the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Theater Arts Program started in May 2021 by student-artists from the Batch 119 practicing theater production. Following the success of their previous two online productions, Ang Red Dress Ni Makisig and Bago Dumilim Sa Labas, Sining LABinsiyam is back to stage Orgullo Compound, their very first hybrid production, which was written by Dr. Layeta Bucoy and directed by Jenny Logico-Cruz.
Orgullo Compound is a perceptive study of one’s unwillingness to adjust and adapt beyond one’s current situation. The characters’ academic and personal life show parallelism in how they manage their dilemma, and as the story progresses, the residents look for solutions to their decaying bond.
Sining LABinsiyam hopes to convey through this play how one’s surroundings both reflect and impact themselves and their decisions in life. While integrating Polymer Chemistry and relationships, this demonstration will show how a lack of humility ruins relationships and surroundings.
