Sorsogon Governor Jose Edwin Hamor made Christmas merrier for the 2,290 employees of the provincial government.
Hamor announced that permanent, job order and casual employees in the capitol will receive an additional incentive and rice assistance.

“Ngayong linggo ay makakatangap ang lahat ng regular na empleyado ng pamahalaang panlalawigan ng additional na P20,000 na bonus at rice assistance na 25 kilos alinsunod sa kautusang inilabas ng Malacañang,” the governor said.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved the release of a one-time service recognition incentive (SRI) to qualified government workers ahead of the holiday celebrations.
The President issued an administrative order granting an SRI of not exceeding P20,000 to each qualified government personnel.
The President also issued an AO authorizing the grant of one-time rice assistance for all workers in government.
Sorsogon has 1,225 job order and casual employees and 1,065 permanent workers qualified for the additional incentives and assistance.
