“We see a lot of potential in our homegrown artists and it is important to provide a venue for their talent to grow. We also have historians and enthusiasts who are very much interested in the rich culture of Samar, this center will definitely further their studies,” Piczon explained.

Once completed, the center will provide opportunities for professional training to hone talents and boost creative exploration.

The venue will likewise showcase the artistic works of our locals, thus amplifying the sense of Samarnon pride.

The construction of the P48.2M building is now on its first phase.

Its funding source is the General Appropriations Act CY 2023, with the Department of Public Works and Highways 2nd District Engineering Office as the implementing agency, and the JFR Construction as the contractor.
