QC UNIVERSITY GETS ACCREDITATION FOR 4 PROGRAMS

Four programs of the local government-run Quezon City University (QCU) have received Level 1 Accreditation from the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) following a rigorous accreditation process.

The four programs include Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.

Quezon City University President, Dr. Theresita Atienza, received the certificates on behalf of the university from ALCUCOA President and Executive Director, Dr Raymundo P. Arcega, during the Faculty and Staff Convocation 2022 held at QCU.

Other QCU officials, deans of programs and area program chairpersons also witnessed the awarding ceremony.

The certification showed that QCU is in accordance with the ALCUCOA standards following a meticulous three-day evaluation process, which was verified by the Technical Review Board Committee, approved by the Board of Directors and confirmed by the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA).

The assessment tackled the following areas: Governance and Administration, Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Student Development and Services, Entrepreneurship and Employability, Community Extension Services, Research, Library, Laboratories, and Physical Plant/Facilities.

“This is a proof of our steadfast desire to provide QCitizens with an excellent educational program that is at par or even exceeds the standards set by private learning institutions.”
