The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) proudly welcomed delegates from the Brunei Darussalam Red Cross led by Secretary General Tuan Haji Muhd Suhaimi bin Haji Ibrahim and Vice President III for Communications and Fundraising Mohd Al-Fatah Haji Seruji.
The Brunei Darussalam Red Cross was in the Philippines for a three-day working visit aimed at advancing first aid initiatives and fostering partnerships through the Southeast Asia First Aid Network.
This peer-to-peer visit highlighted PRC’s commitment to sharing best practices as one of the premier humanitarian organizations in the region.
PRC Chairman and CEO Dick Gordon emphasized the importance of this collaboration.
“The Philippine Red Cross stands ready to share the lessons we’ve learned over the years, opening our doors to collaborate and support other national societies,” Gordon said.
“By strengthening cooperation through Southeast Asia, we can ensure that more lives are saved across the region.”
“Learning, however, is always a two-way process. By strengthening cooperation through Southeast Asia, we can ensure that more lives are saved across the region,” he added.
“The visit also included discussions about collaborative projects with the SEA First Aid Learning Hub in Brunei.”
According to PRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang, the visit also included a strategic meeting for the 3rd SEA First Aid Network Working Committee and discussions about collaborative projects with the SEA First Aid Learning Hub in Brunei.
The delegation also visited PRC’s Training Center in Quezon City to explore its state-of-the-art facilities.
The two delegates also joined the PRC’s Dancing for Wellness Session with other staff and volunteers.
