The Premiere Medical Center in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) signed a memorandum of agreement for blood supply distribution at the PRC National Headquarters.
“We’re bringing blood straight to the hospitals para secured ang mga tao,” PRC Chairman & CEO Dick Gordon announced.
“We want to ensure that the transfer of blood will not result in a high cost of blood, it should remain the same.”
“Red Cross blood is in the hospitals. We want to ensure that the transfer of blood will not result in a high cost of blood, it should remain the same. We expand this so that all people, especially the most vulnerable, have easy access to blood,” Gordon explained.
“PRC plans to tap more hospitals in Nueva Ecija and across the country.”
Meanwhile, PRC Secretary-General Dr. Gwen Pang mentioned that the PRC plans to tap more hospitals in Nueva Ecija and across the country.
Also present during the signing are PRC Nueva Ecija Chapter Chairman Edward Thomas Joson and Administrator Elena Ladignon; and Dr. Sheryl Yang Zamora from Premiere Medical Center.
The PRC has partnered with Cardinal Santos Medical Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center, AC Healthway Cancer Care Center, and Manila Doctors Hospital.
