At least 50,000 residents of Bulacan witnessed the proclamation and campaign kick-off rally of the ruling Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) senatorial candidates led by the party’s chairman, President Rodrigo Duterte, at the City Sports Center in Barangay Minuyan Proper, San Jose del Monte.
Proclaimed were the five senatorial candidates belonging to the ruling party, or the “MA BA GO KO TO” slate of Dong Mangudadatu, former Philippine National Police chief Bato de la Rosa, former Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, Sen. Koko Pimentel and former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Francis Tolentino.
Proclaimed were the five MA BA GO KO TO Senate candidates of the ruling party — Mangudadatu, Bato de la Rosa, Bong Go, Koko Pimentel and Tolentino.
President Duterte also proclaimed the ruling party’s guest candidates for the Senate. Proclaimed were Sen. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Sonny Angara, Sen. JV Ejercito Estrada and Pia Cayetano, along with Ilocos Governor Imee Marcos and singer Freddie Aguilar.

The Chief Executive also cited the achievements and accomplishments of the administration candidates. He said he believed they could help his administration in pushing for his advocacies.
Likewise, the President also cited his administration’s campaign against illegal drugs and corruption.
Before the proclamation, PDP-Laban campaign manager Sen. Manny Pacquiao introduced the five senatorial candidates of the ruling party.
“Itataya ko ang pangalan ko dito sa limang kandidato ng aming partido at sa ilan naming guest candidates na tutulong sa adbokasiya ng ating Pangulong Duterte (I will bet my name on these five candidates of our party and to some of our guest candidates who will help on the advocacies of President Duterte),” Pacquiao said.
Also present in the proclamation rally were Bulacan local candidates led by Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad who is running for provincial governor; Bokal (provincial board member) Joseph Andrew Mendoza, who is gunning for vice governor; and most of the mayoralty and vice mayoralty candidates, congressmen and members of the provincial board.
Reelectionist Rep. Florida Robes of the Lone District of San Jose del Monte, who is the wife of city Mayor Arthur Robes, said their constituents are happy that the President and the PDP-Laban candidates have chosen their city as the venue of the proclamation rally.
