PCSO CONTINUES ‘HEARTFELT SERVICE’ ON 89TH YEAR

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) vowed to continue providing heartfelt service and being a “partner of the Filipino family” on the 89th year since its establishment.

“We will continue to provide heartfelt service as we strive to be the Filipino family’s partner in both their trials and triumphs in life in the years to come,” PCSO Chairman Junie E. Cua said.

The PCSO was created through Act 4130, which the Philippine Legislature passed on October 30, 1934.

Cua also vowed that the agency would attempt to “break records year-on-year” in terms of revenue and the number of beneficiaries it serves.

“We will try to break records year-on-year.

Cua also said that the PCSO will be holding some activities in line with its anniversary.

The Chairman also shared his excitement as minimum lotto jackpot prizes for all its major lotto games had been set to P89 million on October 30 to mark its anniversary.

The agency earlier announced that the P89-million prize is applicable to Grand Lotto 6/55 and MegaLotto 6/45, which are the games drawn on Mondays.

The prize would then be applied to the UltraLotto 6/58 (TFSun), SuperLotto 6/49 (TThSun), and Lotto 6/42 (TThS) should there be no winner on Monday, and will increase accordingly until the jackpot is hit.

A lone bettor from Nueva Vizcaya has since won the Lotto 6/42 draw with a prize of P102,254,379.40, the agency announced on Monday, November 6.

The PCSO was created through Act 4130, which the Philippine Legislature passed on October 30, 1934.
