Senior Citizen Party-list Representative Rodolfo Ordanes led a roster of nominees vying for up to three seats in the House of Representatives on behalf of senior citizens, veterans, and retirees.
The nominees filed their certificate of nomination and acceptance at the Comelec field office at The Manila Hotel Tent City recently.
Ordanes said he seeks “solidarity among senior citizens nationwide so that the Senior Citizen Party-list can muster the votes needed to secure the maximum three seats a party-list can get in an election”.
“The legislative output of the Senior Citizen Party-list can be a strong motivation for those millions of elderly who want to secure their future and those of their families.”
“There are more than 12 million seniors nationwide, and the votes of 2.5 million of them are more than enough to qualify for three seats in the House. The legislative output of the Senior Citizen Party-list can be a strong motivation for those millions of elderly who want to secure their future and those of their families,” the Chair of the House Committee on Senior Citizens added.
“Senior citizens have strong voting power in any legislative district and nationwide.”
“Marami po tayong naipasang mga batas dahil batid ng mga kasama ko sa Kongreso na masipag bumoto ang mga seniors. Senior citizens have strong voting power in any legislative district and nationwide,” the legislator pointed out.
The nominees of the Senior Citizen Party-list are Rep. Rodolfo Epimaco “Ompong” M. Ordanes, Carmencita P. Lacson, and Alberto F. Pasiliao.
