NEW ACCESS ROAD FOR PANGASINAN’S SAN FABIAN BEACH

More tourists are expected to visit San Fabian Beach in Pangasinan once the lockdown eases with the completion of a new access road project.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar commended DPWH Pangasinan 2nd District Engineer Edita Manuel for the swift construction of a 1.3-lane kilometer access road project that now provides more convenient access to the famous tourism destination.

The access road is providing better mobility for residents of San Fabian town who rely on aquaculture and fisheries for livelihood.

Aside from tourism boost, the P37.5-million access road funded under the 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA) is also providing better mobility for residents of San Fabian town that rely on aquaculture and fisheries for livelihood.

Beachgoers, bikers, and residents can now use the paved road constructed with patterned concrete with rubber stamps designed from “real stone,” lighting, and stone masonry.

“As the country tries to recover from the pandemic, this new infrastructure project in Pangasinan is targeted to provide economic boost and improve opportunities for the whole province,” Villar concluded.
