The Provincial Government of Samar, through the Provincial Public Employment Service Office, and the Department of Labor and Employment, sponsored a three-day online job fair from May 29 to 31, 2023.
The JobsNext Online Job Fair which is also in partnership with the Philippine Business for Education, Citi Foundation, Xcruit, and YGoal has over 100,000 job opportunities offered from different companies.
Board Member Fe Arcales, representing Governor Sharee Ann Tan, read the latter’s message during the program.
“This job fair is a celebration of the boundless potential and aspirations of young people, not just in Samar but all over the Philippines,” Tan said.
“It is a testament to our shared belief in the power of education, skills development, and meaningful employment to transform lives and create a brighter future.”

Moreover, Arcales shared that Tan sent her well-wishes to the applicants and encouraged them to continue pursuing their dreams with unwavering determination.
It was likewise stressed in the message that the government will always support and provide opportunities to the people for everyone’s growth and development.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Government of Samar provided a Jobseeker Assistance Desk open from May 29-June 2, 2023 at Balay Samarnon (Formerly Tia Anita’s Events Place).
Through which, PESO personnel and SIRAK Kabataan members can assist hopeful applicants in navigating the online platform.
