LIST OF TOPNOTCHERS FOR MARCH 2023 CSE EXAM OUT

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the list of topnotchers in the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) conducted on 26 March 2023.

With a rating of 92.63, Glenn C.Gonzales from the National Capital Region (NCR) topped the Professional level, while LM Tricia De La Cruz from Western Visayas topped the Subprofessional level with a 90.24 rating.

NCR’s Glenn C.Gonzales (92.63%) topped the Professional level, while Western Visayas’ LM Tricia De La Cruz (90.24%) topped the Subprofessional level.

Completing the list of top passers for the Professional level are Elijah Denelle E. Manuel (NCR), with a rating of 91.74; Gerardo A. Golong (NCR) with 91.39; Duane Jasper S. Tenorio (Southern Tagalog) with 91.12; Samantha Lorraine S. Jose (Cordillera Administration Region) with 91.10; Bennyvic Joyce J. Esguerra (Cagayan Valley) with 91.07; Julian Carlos A. Aliston (NCR) with 90.98; Kaye Berenice G. Barriga (Central Visayas) with 90.98; Theo Victor A. Cavite (Eastern Visayas) with 90.78; and Fatimah Lane P. Fungo (NCR) with 90.69.

Meanwhile, for the Subprofessional level, Dela Cruz is followed by Gwen L. Ambrona (Davao Region) with a rating of 90.17; Nelson T. Lim (NCR) with 90.14; Joelle Dianne F. Venegas (NCR) with 90.04; Louise Marie B. Pardilla (NCR) with 89.88; Krystelle Joy T. Zipagan-Soriano (Cagayan Valley) with 89.86; Jude Dominic Y. Erestain (NCR) with 89.70; Azlemere Kate V. Olegario (CAR) with 89.60; Reniel C. Cuña (NCR) with 89.55; Joyce Ann N. Tagunicar (NCR) with 89.40; and Dominic C. Arandela (Southern Tagalog) with 89.40.

Ang inyong tagumpay ay bunga ng pagsisikap, kahusayan, at dedikasyon – mga kalidad na mahalaga sa pagiging isang lingkod bayan,” CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said.

According to the CSC Examination, Recruitment, and Placement Office (ERPO), NCR achieved the highest passing rate in terms of regional performance.

At the Professional level, NCR recorded a passing rate of 21.39 percent, with 13,544 passers out of 63,313 examinees. Similarly, at the Subprofessional level, NCR attained a passing rate of 23.34 percent, with 3,138 passers out of 13,442 examinees.

For the Professional level, notable passing rates were observed in other regions of the country, such as Central Luzon (19.61 percent), CAR (18.52 percent), Central Visayas (18.18 percent), and Southern Tagalog (18.07 percent).

Regarding the Subprofessional level, significant passing rates were recorded in the Ilocos Region (21.82 percent), Central Luzon (21.45 percent), CAR (21.10 percent), Bicol Region (20.76 percent), and Southern Tagalog (20.69 percent).

The complete list of successful examinees of the 26 March 2023 Career Service Professional and Subprofessional Examinations may be accessed at the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph.

The CSC also said Certifications of Eligibility are expected to be available by 11 July 2023.

Passers are advised to verify first with the CSC Regional or Field Office concerned the availability of, and the requirements and procedure in claiming, their Certification of Eligibility.

Alternatively, examinees, whether they passed or failed, have the option to generate their individual ratings using OCSERGS or the Online Career Service Examination Result Generation System. This system is accessible through the CSC website as well.

The CSC cautions the public regarding postings on websites or social media links that are not affiliated with the CSC or involved in unauthorized use of the CSC’s name.

In an earlier news release posted on 13 June 2023, the CSC announced that 64,420 examinees passed the CSE-PPT held on 26 March. A total of 54,478 or 16.42 percent out of 331,816 examinees passed the Career Service Professional Examination, while 9,942, representing 19.97 percent of the 49,791 examinees, passed the Career Service Subprofessional Examination.

Examinees who passed the CSE Professional Level are conferred with the Career Service Professional Eligibility, a requirement for permanent appointment to both first level (clerical) and second level (technical) positions in the career service which do not involve the practice of profession and are not covered by the Bar, board and other laws.

On the other hand, the Subprofessional Eligibility shall be appropriate to first level positions only.

The CSC reminds that eligibility alone does not guarantee appointment in government service as education, experience, training, and other competency requirements of the positions must also be met.
