Heroes need not be galaxies away to be legendary. Sometimes, they are in white coats with their stethoscopes saving lives one diagnosis at a time.
The journey of paving a career in medicine takes guts. May it be doing hours’ worth of rounds along the hospital halls or providing health service to the most far-flung areas; medicine is a noble profession that entails grit, passion, and tenacity. They may not be in space suits like Buzz but their persistence in wearing PPEs to serve the underserved reflects how crucial healthcare professionals are in our society–especially amidst our battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
