LEGARDA BRINGS ‘PASSPORT ON WHEELS’ TO ANTIQUE

Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda and Rep. Aa Legarda recently brought the “Passport on Wheels” service in her home province of Antique at the third floor of Robinson’s Mall Antique in San Jose de Buenavista.

A total of 2,300 Antiqueño applicants benefitted from the endeavor — 900 each during the first and second days, and 500 during the third.

This was the first step in bringing the Passport on Wheels service for a longer basis starting January 2024, while the process of opening a permanent consular office is ongoing.

It is slated to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2024 and will be staffed by dedicated individuals eager to serve their own community.

A total of 11 personnel hail from Antique, which further strengthens the commitment to local talent.

“I am confident that this initiative will empower Antiqueños, and bring convenience, progress, and a brighter future for our beloved province.”
