With 94 out of 100 Filipinos expressing satisfaction with the services provided by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), PhilHealth President and CEO Emmanuel R. Ledesma Jr. praised the agency’s workforce for obtaining a record-high net satisfaction ratings in 2022.
“We have 7,088 dedicated employees who work every day to serve the Filipino people, particularly our over 104 million registered beneficiaries,” said the PhilHealth chief.
PhilHealth personnel work in more than 360 PhilHealth stations nationwide. These include 17 Regional and five Branch Offices, 114 Local Health Insurance Offices, 69 PhilHealth Express stations, 14 Satellite Offices, 19 Business Centers, 26 Service Desks, and 104 Malasakit Centers.
He pointed out that “lumalabas sa latest survey na tapat ang empleyado ng PhilHealth sa core values ng ahensya, tulad ng agarang serbisyo, taos-pusong paglilingkod, at pagmamalasakit.”
“We shall continue to remain true to our values so we will be able to successfully fulfill our mandate: to provide affordable, acceptable, and accessible health care services to our countrymen.”
In a survey conducted by Novo Trends PH, PhilHealth obtained a net satisfaction rating of 93.75% from individuals in 2022, higher than the 90.19% it received the previous year.
The agency also obtained “excellent ratings” from three other stakeholders. These include employers (86.34%), health care institutions (86.82%), and health care professionals (79.38%).
According to Ledesma, PhilHealth continues to provide personnel with training and education opportunities “in order to contribute to their personal growth, and to aid in the development of the skills necessary to make them more effective and efficient in addressing the needs of our clients.”
“The feedback provided by the surveys that have been conducted,” added Ledesma, “serve as a guide for us; to see what we are doing right, and to determine the areas that need improvement.”
