LAZATIN OPENS 166TH COMPUTER LAB IN ANGELES CITY

Angeles City continues to advance its educational initiatives with the opening of its 16th computer laboratory at Rafael Lazatin Memorial High School in Barangay Balibago.

Led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., the project aims to provide students and teachers with better access to technology and digital resources.

Two computer labs were designated in Rafael Lazatin Memorial Junior High School while one computer lab was built in Rafael Lazatin Memorial Senior High School. 

This latest addition is part of the city’s ICT Modernization Program, which seeks to meet the ideal student-to-computer ratio and improve digital learning experiences.

To date, the program has benefited seven public schools including Angeles City National High School, Angeles City National Trade School, Northville 15 Integrated School, Governor Rafael L. Lazatin Integrated School, Malabanias Integrated School, Rafael Lazatin Memorial High School, and Sapangbato National High School. 

“We remain steadfast in our efforts to equip educational institutions with modern tools, paving the way for enhanced learning opportunities,” Lazatin stressed.

Joining the mayor during the ribbon-cutting and turnover ceremony are Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Marino Bañola, Edu Pamintuan, Alexander Indiongco, Cris Cortez, JC Aguas, Raco Del Rosario, Dr. Mich Bonifacio, Danilo Lacson, and Jesus Sangil, ABC President Danilo Nacu, Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Secretary to the Mayor Raffy Lazatin Angeles, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Department of Education Angeles City Schools Division Superintendent Engr. Edgard Domingo, General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo, Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego, City Engineer’s Officer-in-Charge Helen Ayro, other department heads, and chiefs-of-offices.

Back in 2024, the Angeles City High School and Northville 15 Integrated School opened three rooms each as computer laboratories, and two rooms each for Angeles City National Trade School, and Angeles City National High School.
