Implemented by DPWH La Union First District Engineering Office (DEO), the P44-million project funded under the 2020 and 2021 General Appropriations Act (GAA) covers the installation of erosion control mats that has a minimal ecological impact.
Villar lauded the DPWH La Union First District Engineering Office headed by District Engineer Jose Ginete Jr. for completing the project within five months despite several restrictions implemented during the pandemic.
“With the completion of various infrastructure projects in the province, we are hoping that more tourists will visit to support La Union’s booming tourism industry,” the public works chief said.
