ISABELA TOWN RESIDENTS RECEIVE CASH AID

Isabela Governor Rodito Albano III and Isabela Vice Governor Bojie Dy led the distribution of financial assistance to the BRO-Ed scholars, I-IRISE beneficiaries, tobacco farmers, and TODA members in the province’s Roxas town recently.

Albano said he would give back the money of the provincial government to the people.

“Basta masaya kayong lahat.”

“Basta masaya kayong lahat, ang lahat ng pera ng kapitolyo ay ibabalik namin sa inyo para makatulong sa inyong mga pamilya,” the governor said.

Dy explained that the provincial government is working hard to deliver the right programs to meet the needs of less fortunate Isabeleños who are still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Pinagsisikapaan ng provincial government na maihatid ang mga tamang programa para matugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kapus-palad.”

“Pinagsisikapaan ng provincial government na maihatid ang mga tamang programa para matugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kapus-palad at ating kababayan na nagre-recover pa rin sa COVID-19 na ating pinagdaanan,” he said.

The 1,422 BRO-Ed scholars received their scholarship allowance amounting to P4.3 million for the 1st semester of S.Y. 2022-2023.

Meanwhile, a total of P27.65 million from the tobacco excise tax share of the PGI was distributed to 1,106 tobacco farmers, each receiving P25,000.

Under the I-RISE livelihood assistance program, the provincial government distributed P1.7 million worth of livelihood support to 519 identified small vendors in the municipality. 

The provincial government also distributed the monthly 5-kg rice subsidy to 881 TODA members.

Albano also disclosed his plan to revive his milk-feeding program in the province for lactating mothers and malnourished children, among others.
