The Industrial Management Engineering Society (IMES), an organization in De La Salle University-Manila, presents IECON 2023: Digital Frontiers Reimagined, one of its flagship events of the year. The event will take place this March 25, 2023, and will be held in De La Salle University campus (The Verdure, 4th Floor, Henry Sy, Sr. Building). For those who are unable to be there, a Facebook Group Live would be available.
What is IECON? IE Convention 2023 is expected to be the largest student-led convention for aspiring and professional Industrial Engineers in the Philippines. The event aims to explore the future of Industrial engineers in the digitalized world.
For last year’s IECON 2022, it had the theme of Pioneering What’s Next. Speakers with incredible work background and positions were invited to speak for the event; to list a few would be Mr. Paul Fisher, Senior Manager for Industrial Engineering of Disneyland Resort, Ms. Alyssa Caganda, Special Projects and Chief of Staff of Xendit, and Mr. Tonet Rivera, Mead Johnson Nutrition Senior VP for Global Supply Chain. All three participated in the panel discussion on the 2nd day of the event. In their discussion, they talked about their position in their respective companies and various work and life experiences that made them realize the importance of Industrial Engineering.
