The Philippine Red Cross has a new ambassador.
PRC Chairman and CEO Dick Gordon, PRC Secretary-General Dr. Gwen Pang, and Jenni Munar, a member of PRC Board of Governors signed the Memorandum of Agreement with 2023 Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee, GMA Network’s Senior Vice Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and GMA Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo.
The PRC and GMA, under its Kapuso Foundation, have a long-standing partnership, facilitating massive blood donation drives for nearly 30 years.
Dee’s addition to the PRC, however, will extend beyond blood services.
“I will also support PRC’s other humanitarian initiatives, including fund generation projects, livelihood assistance to indigenous communities, and disaster operations in far-flung and disadvantaged areas.”

Gordon and Pang expressed their gratitude to the beauty queen for using her platform to represent the PRC and for joining its mission in alleviating the suffering and uplifting the dignity of the most vulnerable.
