FL LIZA MARCOS BRINGS ‘LAB FOR ALL’ TO SUBIC

The Department of Health (DOH), led by Secretary Ted Herbosa along with Undersecretary Maria Rosario Singh-Vergiere, joined forces with First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos for the 26th LAB for All Caravan, held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.

This event is part of a nationwide initiative aimed at providing comprehensive health and medical services to underserved communities.

“The LAB for All embodies the government’s commitment to making essential services accessible to all Filipinos,” Herbosa said.

The LAB for All Caravan offered an extensive array of medical services, including laboratory tests, dental care, ECGs, surgeries, obstetrics and gynecology, and ophthalmology. Additionally, free medicines, health screenings, assessments, and pregnancy-related services were also provided at the event.

These services are aligned with the DOH’s commitment to strengthening primary care, emphasizing the importance of preventive health services, and empowering our kababayans to take proactive steps in managing their well-being without financial burden.

Enhancing its reach and effectiveness, other government agencies participated in the event, including the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and local government officials from Bataan and Zambales.
