House of Representatives Minority Leader Nonoy Libanan called former Senator Rodolfo “Pong” Biazon “a true Filipino patriot who passionately loved his country and boldly fought for it.”
“The Philippines has lost a true patriot and a humble servant in Senator Biazon,” Libanan said.
“Senator Biazon was always ready to bravely support and defend our freedoms and rights as a nation,” the veteran legislator stressed.
“While our hearts are heavy with sadness, we are grateful for Senator Biazon’s years of devoted service to country.”

Libanan said he is thankful for having had the personal privilege to work closely with Biazon on national defense issues in the 11th and 12th Congress.
He previously served as representative of Eastern Samar province’s lone congressional district before he was elected 4Ps party-list representative.
