Eastern Samar Governor Ben Evardone was awarded as Most Outstanding Stakeholder along with other individuals in the 2023 Division Pasidungog Awards – an annual awarding – with the theme “Lamrag han DepEd Sinirangan at The Oriental Hotel, Tacloban City, Leyte.
Evardone was honored with a plaque recognizing him as one of the most outstanding stakeholders of the Department of Education Region VIII, Schools Division of Eastern Samar.
The governor was also the Keynote Speaker of the ceremony.
In his message, Evardone emphasized the significance of education as the foremost investment to aid the residents of Eastern Samar, leading to the development of the “Isang Propesyonal, Isang Pamilya Program” (IPIPP), which has been an enduring initiative.
The year 2023 saw 584 Estehanons benefitting from financial aid amounting to over P2 million under the Bulig Para Estudyante (BPE) program.
In addition to IPIPP, the year 2023 saw 584 Estehanons benefitting from financial aid amounting to over P2 million under the Bulig Para Estudyante (BPE) program.
BPE is a long-standing initiative of the Provincial Government of Eastern Samar, aimed at providing support to students, board exam takers, and/or upcoming professionals.
The award is aligned with DepEd’s aim to acknowledge and commend internal and external stakeholders in the division of Eastern Samar, who have manifested exemplary performance and productivity.
