Newly-elected senators and local officials endorsed by the Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) in the recent midterm polls took their oaths of office before President Rodrigo Duterte.
The mass oath-taking rites were held in Malacañang, a day after Duterte joined the HNP thanksgiving party at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati City.

Those who took their oaths as senators were re-elected senators Cynthia Villar and Sonny Angara, returning senators Pia Cayetano and Bong Revilla, and Senators-elect Imee Marcos, Francis Tolentino and Bato dela Rosa.
Re-elected Senator and Hugpong bet Koko Pimentel is out of the country, according to reports.
Senator-elect Bong Go, who ran under the ruling Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), also graced the occasion.

of office before the President were members of the House of Representatives, local chief executives, and locally-elected legislators who were also endorsed by the HNP.
The HNP is a regional political party headed by presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
