Explore the underwater beauty of Eastern Samar by joining the upcoming Open Water Training that will be facilitated by Professional Associations of Diving Instruction (PADI) through Budgetmate Travel and Tours on May 8-12 in Borongan City, Eastern Samar.
Governor Ben Evardone expressed his gratitude to Budgetmate for the initiative of opening Eastern Samar to the diving community through the upcoming Open Water Training.
“Like surfing, scuba diving could be another tourism asset of our province. Thank you, Budgetmate, for this initiative,” Evardone said.
The training program offers comprehensive instructions in open water diving, including specialties like search and recovery, deep night, enriched air diving, and wreck exploration.
With the tagline “Be a Padi Licensed Scuba Diver”, Certified PADI Dive Instructor: Danilo Menorias, will guide the training program offering comprehensive instructions in open water diving, including specialties like search and recovery, deep night, enriched air diving, and wreck exploration.
- The next training will take place at Point Mary, Baybay, or Cabong, while the Fun Dive will be happening at Divinubo Island.
The event will start with pool sessions first, either at Mabaroca or Poolsite, depending on the availability, according to Budgetmate Diving Center. Followed by the next training that will take place at Point Mary, Baybay, or Cabong, while the Fun Dive will be happening at Divinubo Island.
The training is open to all interested individuals. A registration fee that will cost P23,950 with a reservation fee of 5,000 pesos deductible from the total amount.
