The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) upgraded from gravel to concrete the 1.48-kilometer Pedro Manubas Bypass Road in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija to provide safer and more convenient movement of goods and services.
DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller Tolentino, in his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan and Undersecretary for Operations in Central Luzon Roberto Bernardo, said that the upgraded two-lane Pedro Manubas Bypass Road in Barangay Tramo links the Emilio Vergara Highway and Daang Maharlika.
“The now concrete bypass road benefits about 1,500 residents of Barangay Tramo and more from neighboring communities by promoting inter-barangay connectivity and accessibility.”

“Local farmers also experience more efficient transport of their agricultural products as they no longer need to travel along the old rough and dusty earth road when going to market centers in Sta. Rosa and nearby towns,” he added.
Implemented by the DPWH Nueva Ecija Second District Engineering Office (DEO), the concreting of Pedro Manubay Bypass Road was completed in the amount of P27.73 million through the DPWH Basic Infrastructure Program (BIP) under the 2023 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
