“A 916-meter road project was constructed in Barangay Bolaoen to provide a quick and safe route from the farmlands to the market center, enhancing support for agribusiness.”

“With the new road, travel time from Barangay Bolaoen to the town proper of San Fabian, Pangasinan is reduced from one (1) hour to just 30 minutes, helping farmers and residents deliver their local produce with reduced transport costs,” Tan stressed.

“The FMR also promotes local tourism as it provides better access for tourists visiting San Fabian Beach.”

According to DPWH Pangasinan Second District Engineer Edita Manuel, the FMR also promotes local tourism as it provides better access for tourists visiting San Fabian Beach.

The completed project amounting P9.9-million was funded by the Department of Agriculture (DA) under the DA-DPWH Convergence Program.
