Tourists and local community are now benefiting from the recently-completed access road leading to Fatima Hills, among the most visited places listed as religious center in the town of Macrohon, Southern Leyte.
Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar said that the dusty and bumpy 595-linear meter road was converted into a two-lane concrete paved road with line canal and slope protection.

The project, which is part of the convergence program of DPWH and the Department of Tourism (DOT), is expected to facilitate local community development.
