The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started construction of a centralized medical warehouse that will benefit the provincial hospitals of Balo-i, Kauswagan, Kolambugan, Baroy, Kapatagan, and Sultan Naga Dimaporo all in the province of Lanao del Norte.
Citing a report from DPWH Region 10 Director Zenaida Tan, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said that the P19.2-million medical storage facility is ongoing to help in the storage of medicines, intravenous solutions, first aid products, protective equipment, personal care products, respiratory supplies and orthopedic supplies of the two public hospitals.

The construction of centralized medical facility is being funded by the 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA), the DPWH said.
