“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a simple step.”

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a simple step, may this awarding ceremony pave the way for the promotion of the advocacy of Traditional & Complementary Medicine,” said PITAHC Director General Annabelle Pabiona-De Guzman.

PITAHC has conceptualized the “PITAHC Seal of Excellence: the Search for Traditional and Complementary Champions” an award system envisioned to promote the highest level of professional standards, inspire excellence, and community service as part of PITAHC’s communication plan.

The PITAHC Seal of Excellence (SOE) will recognize the outstanding practices and contributions of the Local Government Units (LGUs), the DOH Centers for Health Development (CHDs), and the DOH retained Hospitals in raising the profile of T&CM among Filipino health consumers and the society at large.

“This only galvanized our bid for better provision of quality healthcare services.”

“We commend the PITAHC in this endeavor to highlight LGUs and CHDs as this only galvanized our bid for better provision of quality healthcare services in line with Universal Healthcare and one of our Eight-Point Action agenda, which is to provide a ligtas, dekalidad, at mapagkalingang serbisyo to our people. Through these efforts, we truly embody the spirit of being united in achieving a Healthy Pilipinas kung saan Bawat buhay ay mahalaga,” Herbosa concluded.
