DAVAO CITY TRAFFIC ENFORCERS GET RICE, CASH AID

Despite being in the hospital due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), First District Representative Paolo Duterte made sure sacks of rice and cash assistance were given out to all traffic enforcers in Davao City.

The lawmaker’s office said around 948 pieces of 10 kilograms of rice and cash assistance were distributed to the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO).

Duterte said these personnel deserve the assistance especially since they are also considered the city’s frontliners ensuring everyone’s safety on the road.

“Help should be extended not only to civilians and those in need of emergency assistance but also to those on the front lines during the coronavirus pandemic.”

The legislator said help should be extended not only to civilians and those in need of emergency assistance but also to those on the front lines during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Not a single policy of the IATF has been violated during the distribution of the rice and cash assistance.”

“We assure that not a single policy of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has been violated during the distribution of the rice and cash assistance,” the lawmaker added.

Duterte recently tested positive for COVID-19 but assured continuity of their services despite being isolated.

“Rest assured that I will comply with the quarantine and will continue to serve the people of Davao even in isolation,” he stressed.
