Quirino Gov. Dakila Cua on Friday vowed that provincial local governments will serve as the national government’s active partners in post-pandemic recovery and helping Filipinos cope with the rising cost of goods.
Cua was re-elected as the National Chairman of the League of Provinces of the Philippines.
The governor vowed to work on putting mechanisms in place to ensure shared development among provinces.
“We will put up a united front in our efforts to recover from the pandemic and helping the people live decently despite the steady increase in the price of food and other basic commodities,” said Cua.
Cua also thanked his fellow governors for re-electing him to the post.
My peers can rest assured that their trust will not be wasted,” he said.
The governor vowed to work on putting mechanisms in place to ensure shared development among provinces.
He said that “inter-provincial partnerships will be crucial in “putting the country back to its feet.”
