BULACAN HONORS ACHIEVEMENTS OF WOMEN LEADERS

In a ceremony held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in the City of Malolos, the Gawad Medalyang Ginto 2025 celebrated the extraordinary achievements of women who have made a significant impact within their communities.

The award, which recognizes exceptional women who have made significant contributions to their communities, celebrated a roster of outstanding winners who embody the spirit of determination and excellence.

Among them were Emeliza G. Laurenciana from Sta. Maria, the esteemed Chairperson of the Catmon Multiple-Purpose Cooperative and the School Directress of Aquinas de Escolar Academy, was honored as the “Natatanging Babae”; Evelyn R. Asingua from the city of Malolos was celebrated as the “Matagumpay na Ginang ng OFW”; Marissa S. Del Rosario from Marilao was recognized as the “Matagumpay na Babaeng Makakalikasan”; Mary Vianney J. Sato from Plaridel was honored as the “Huwarang Kabataang Babae sa Pamumuno”; and Maria Donna Adora M. Borlongan from Pulilan was named “Matagumpay na Babaeng Mangangalakal.”

Additionally, the Rotary Club of Plaridel Kristal from Plaridel was awarded the Natatanging Samahan.


The Gawad Medalyang Ginto continues to be a beacon of hope and inspiration, showcasing how determination and resilience can drive positive change.

This year’s event was a powerful reminder of the vital role women play in shaping a better society.

This year’s awarding ceremony was attended by former Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno as the guest of honor.

Gawad Medalyang Ginto is an annual award-giving body that recognizes outstanding women who have made significant contributions to their communities and in various fields such as arts, culture, politics, and social services and serve as role models in various sectors. It aims to empower women and highlight the importance of gender equality in all facets of society.
