Manila, Philippines — One of the main events of the Human Resource Students Society (HRSS-PUP), the General Assembly, will spark soon. On this year’s General Assembly with the theme GROUND ZERO: Braving the Setup Switch, the students of the Department of Human Resource Management will virtually come together via Zoom and Facebook Live on January 21, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM to be informed about the HRSS-PUP’s General Plan of Action, the existing rules and regulations of the organization and the organization itself, and to establish a connection with the local HR Community.
The Human Resource Students Society has chosen the theme for the General Assembly to help the HR Students prepare for the upcoming transition of the university’s mode of learning from online to onsite.
The event will host two talks that would highlight the essential skills needed by the students to break through the new normal’s uncertainties and adjust to it. The first speaker for the assembly will be the Assistant Vice President and HR Strategy & Transformation Officer of SM Prime Holdings Inc., Mr. Alfred Jimenez, who will emphasize on his topic “The New Normal: Usage of HR Facets in the Hybrid Setup”. The second speaker will be the Founder of SharpRocket and Hills & Valleys Cafe, Mr. Venchito Tampon Jr., who will focus on his talk “How To: Socialization 101”.
