BACOLOD CITY GOV’T GETS NEW EMERGENCY VEHICLES

Bacolod City has strengthened its commitment to efficient and responsive public service. 

Under the leadership of Mayor Albee Benitez, the city government has acquired a fleet of 71 new vehicles to support various government departments.

“Introducing our new DRRMO Mobile Command Center for disaster response and rescue,” Benitez said in a Facebook post. 

The newly acquired vehicles include ambulances, motorcycles, patrol cars, utility vehicles, dump trucks, fire trucks, and emergency monitoring and response units.

These vehicles are strategically allocated to boost the city’s capacity for quick and effective responses, particularly during emergencies and natural disasters.

“These are funded by the 2023 Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund with an allocation of P5.4 million,” the mayor said.

With this enhanced fleet, Bacolod City is positioned to provide faster and more reliable services to all Bacolodnons, reinforcing its dedication to the welfare of the people and the community.

“Isa ini sa madamo nga investments sang siudad para mapadasig and pagaksyon sa mga kalamidad kag emerhensya,” Benitez concluded.
