“Our teachers serve as a backbone of our community, as well as of our children. This is just a small token of appreciation for their unwavering dedication,” he said, acknowledging the crucial role teachers play in the city’s development.

“Happy Teachers’ Day po! Luid kayu pu!” Lazatin greeted.

“The city government has allocated P5 million for public school teachers in the 2025 budget intended for their additional allowance and training fund.”

To recall, his Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel on September 12, 2024 had a brief discussion with ACPUSTA President Jerome Esguerra for the said celebration, pledging Lazatin’s support.

This is not the first time that Lazatin sent his personal greeting cakes and provided snacks and raffle prizes for the celebration of Teachers’ Day.
