ANGELES CITY GOV’T STARTS ‘OPERATION TULI’

The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., has started its “operation tuli” targeting to circumcise 300 children per day.

Lazatin, together with Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, visited Rural Health Unit I in Barangay Sto. Domingo to oversee the free circumcisions.

RHU I covers Barangays San Jose, San Nicolas, Lourdes Sur, Sto. Rosario, and Pulungbulu.

“This is in pursuit of providing accessible health care to all Angeleños especially the indigents.”

“Inaanyayahan ko po ang mga magulang na ipatuli na ang kanilang mga anak. Ito po ay libre at pawang mga professional doctors at nurses po ang magtutuli,” he added.

“The kids also get to take home after care kits which include antibiotics, mefenamic acid, and betadine.”

Thirty midwives, nurses, and doctors from CHO and RLMMC are leading the operation “tuli”.
