The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., distributed incentive allowances of student-athletes, coaches, and officials at the billeting school of Central Luzon Regional Athletics Association Angeles City delegates in Maliwalo Central Elementary School in Tarlac City.
400 student-athletes, 72 coaches, and 98 officials received the incentive allowances, amounting to P1,050 each.
Lazatin has allotted P600,000 from the Special Education Fund for the incentive allowances.
An additional P1,950,000 was allocated for the delegations’ full meal catering for seven days.
P1,500,000 was also allotted for the winning athletes’ incentives, amounting to P10,000 for gold medalist, P7,000 for silver and P5,000 for bronze.

“Maliit na insentibo lamang ito kumpara sa honor na ibinigay sa ating syudad ng mga batang atleta,” the mayor said.
