“ANAKALUSUGAN commits its resources and our network of volunteers to help Rise Against Hunger expand its reach and further alleviate the plight of malnourished, stunted, and wasted children in rural areas.”
This ANAKALUSUGAN Party-list Representative Ray Florence T. Reyes revealed yesterday after his site visit in RAH’s Better World – Tondo multi-service facility, where the food bank stores donated supplies, maintains a community kitchen, operates a health clinic, and feeds children on a daily basis.
As a concrete step to the cooperative partnership, RAH and ANAKALUSUGAN Party-list will distribute food packs and hygiene kits in select communities affected by Typhoon Karding in five towns of Bulacan.
“We share the same goals and advocacies of addressing malnutrition of children, improving health conditions in marginalized communities, and respond to health and climate emergencies. Sa panahon ngayon, susi ang pakikipagtulungan para sa kalusugan ng bata at ng mga pamayanan,” Rep. Reyes said.

ANAKALUSUGAN Party-list in the past three weeks conducted medical missions in various communities in the provinces of Batangas, Bulacan, and Antique, where almost a thousand beneficiaries received much-needed health services such as optical and dental care, blood and other diagnostic tests, and basic medical consultations.
“Kailangan nating makipagtulungan sa gobyerno at pribadong sektor upang tugunan ang patuloy na pag-usbong ng mga bagong hamon sa kalusugan sa mga pamayanan. Hindi tumitigil ang ating paglilingkod sa mga bulwagan ng Kongreso lamang,” Rep. Reyes concluded.
