The distribution of initial rice assistance to tricycle operators and drivers associations (TODA) kicked off at San Manuel Community Center in Isabela.
The distribution took place during the release of allowances, cash assistance, and sacks of rice to the BRO for Education (BRO-Ed) scholars and I-RISE beneficiaries led by Governor Rodito Albano III, Mayor Faustino “DonDon” Dy IV, and the entire officialdom of the town.
The 236 San Manuel TODA members were the first group to receive five kilos of rice assistance from the provincial government which will continue to be provided in the coming months.
A total of P5.9 million in cash was distributed among 681 BRO-Ed scholars, 470 individual I-RISE beneficiaries, and six identified cooperatives.

The governor also underscored that the provincial government is providing interest-free loans as assistance to small and striving businesses.
“Ang interest lang namin ay yung pagmamahal namin sa inyo na sukli ng serbisyo at pagtitiwala niyo sa mga leader niyo. Ipaparamdam namin ang mainit na pagsilsilbi sa inyong lahat,” he stressed.
