The municipality of San Francisco in Agusan del Sur welcomed the completion of two infrastructure projects worth over P7.9 million in one of its villages.
In a statement, the town said the two projects were funded by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) through the Local Government Support Fund Assistance to Municipalities 2020 program.

Mayor Solomon Rufila formally handed over the completed projects to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Barangay 2 in a ceremony recently.
The completed projects include the construction of a drainage canal at Zapanta St., Barangay 2 with a total cost of P4,996,410, and the concreting of Anahaw Street in the same barangay worth P2,994,461.
Rufila thanked the DBM for the funding and support for the completion of the two projects.
“The DBM addressed our concerns by providing funds for these two projects,” he said.
“The construction of Office Extension 3rd Floor Municipal Hall and the landscaping of the perimeter ground of the Municipal Building have also been completed.”
In another statement, the town also announced the completion of two more projects that include the construction of Office Extension 3rd Floor Municipal Hall Building in the amount of P1,499,292 and the landscaping of the perimeter ground of the Municipal Building worth P451,129.
It said the funds for the completion of the renovation of the Municipal Hall were from the 2020 Municipal Fund.
