The provincial government of Agusan del Norte has released sacks of rice to all its employees at the provincial capitol as its early gifts for the Yuletide season.
Governor Dale Corvera said that provincial government workers will receive sacks of rice on top of the bonus and cash gifts.
“The distribution of sacks of rice is a way the provincial leadership recognizes the dedication of our employees, especially in bringing our services to our constituents,” Corvera said.
“All employees, including the regulars, job orders, the outsourced security personnel, and those in the janitorial services, will receive a sack of rice each.”

The provincial government has a total of 1,674 personnel consisting of 726 regular employees and 948 job orders.
He thanked the employees for their continued services to the people in the province despite the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In October this year, Corvera issued a memorandum that provided for the work-from-home scheme with some personnel also affected by the pandemic.

Corvera also reminded the employees to continue to observe the health protocols, especially during the celebration of Christmas in their families and communities.
