The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) launched its first Mobile Soil Laboratory (MSL) at Malacañang Palace.

The MSL, a state-of-the-art 10-wheeler truck, is equipped to analyze 42 soil parameters.

“This will align with President Marcos’ vision of boosting farm yields and increasing farmers’ incomes,” Tiu Laurel explained.
The agriculture chief also commended BSWM for enhancing its facilities, equipment, and training programs. These efforts aim to strengthen soil testing services nationwide.
The agriculture head expressed gratitude to President Marcos and Senator Cynthia Villar for their support. He cited their commitment to agricultural productivity and sustainability.
The MSL initiative is part of the government’s broader push for agricultural modernization. By delivering real-time soil data, the program promotes precision farming and sustainable practices.
