The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed an P84.42-million road improvement project to improve access, encourage more local businesses, and minimize the need for costly road repairs and disruptions in Llanera and Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija.
Funded under the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA), the completed project covers repair of damaged road sections and 4.25 lane kilometers of asphalt overlay along various sections of Junction Pinagpaanan-Rizal-Pantabangan Road in Barangay Mabini, Llanera up to Barangay San Juan, Pantabangan.
Based on the report of DPWH Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, the project also covers provision of reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings in white and yellow, and rumble strips as added safety features.
