Senator Raffy Tulfo has received Arrival Honors and recognition by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at their National Headquarters in Port Area, Manila.
As Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Public Services, the legislator said he aims to ensure that all government agencies covered by his committee can properly perform their duties for the public.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is covered by the committee of Tulfo while the PCG is under the DOTr.
“PCG lacks modern equipment that would help them perform their duties properly.”
Meanwhile, in relation to the issue in the West Philippine Sea, he learned that PCG lacks modern equipment that would help them perform their duties properly.
That’s why Tulfo said PCG can count on his support as he also filed Senate Bill No. 2864 to help with strengthening and modernizing PCG.
