Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna recently awarded land titles to 184 beneficiaries of the city’s Land for the Landless Programs.
“Housing is a key component of our vision to make Manila livable and whole.”
“We will keep implementing the Land for the Landless Program for as long as the city still has lots to award to waiting beneficiaries because housing is a key component of our vision to make Manila livable and whole,” Lacuna also said.
The awarding of the land titles is the result of years of expropriation proceedings, ordinance approvals, negotiations, lot purchases, and subdivisions.
