Governor Ben Evardone welcomed ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo for the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Payout in Eastern Samar recently.
Also welcoming Tulfo in the province was House Minority Leader and 4Ps Partylist Representative Marcelino Libanan.
Tulfo shared that with the request of Evardone for funding to help Eastern Samar, he immediately took action hence the team met for the distribution of the TUPAD Salary.
“Cong. Erwin sa ngalan po ng mga mamamayan ng Silangang Samar, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you and to your staff, your generosity and your loving heart for the people of Eastern Samar.” The governor said as he expressed his gratitude to efforts and initiative of the legislator.
The TUPAD Payout disbursed a total amount of P6.4 Million to more than 2,500 Estehanons in the Southern Municipalities.

The financial aid is for their 10 days of work with a salary of P405 as to the minimum wage in region 8.
After the TUPAD Payout in the Municipalities of Salcedo and Guiuan, Tulfo, Libanan and Evardone proceeded to the Inauguration and Turnover Ceremony of the Multi-Purpose Building Amphitheater with a 245 seating capacity.
