48 NEW RESERVISTS FINISH BASIC MILITARY TRAINING

Senator Robin Padilla commended the 48 new reservists who completed their Basic Citizen Military Course (BCMC) as he urged them to be a symbol to influence the youth to be part of the reservist program.

In his message during the graduation rites held at the Philippine Navy headquarters, Padilla told the new reservists, mostly from the Senate, that they are now messengers tasked with encouraging the youth not to be afraid and to conquer their fears.

“Kayo ang aming tagapagsalita sa ating kabataan na wag sila matakot conquer-in sarili nila, harapin ang kailangang harapin nila,” Padilla said.

“’Di pwede habang nagkakaedad tayo puro bibig gamit natin.”

“’Di pwede habang nagkakaedad tayo puro bibig gamit natin,” the legislator added as he expressed his gratitude to former Senate President Migz Zubiri because it was during his time that the BCMC materialized.

Padilla also thanked the Philippine Navy headed by Flag Office in Command Vice Admiral Toribo Adaci, Jr., Sen. Francis Tolentino and celebrity reservist Major Jose Sixto “Dingdong” Dantes III.
